Steve Hale (Haler)
Steve is 49 years old and opened up his goalkeeping school in April 2007.
Steve holds the UEFA Goalkeeping A Licence, the top goalkeeping coaching licence in Europe.
Steve is currently Head of Academy Goalkeeping (U9 - U23) in the Category 2 Academy at Championship club Coventry City and prior to that was First Team Goalkeeping Coach at Tottenham Hotspur Women FC in the Womens Super League. Steve has also been First Team Goalkeeping Coach at Exeter City (League Two) Oldham Athletic (League Two) Walsall (League One) and before that the full time Head of Goalkeeping at League Two side Forest Green Rovers. His longest spell however was at his home town club Swindon Town FC where he was Head of Goalkeeping. There he looked after all the goalkeepers from Under 9 to full-time scholars (U18's) and the Senior Professional goalkeepers such as Lawrence Vigouroux (on loan from Liverpool), Tyrell Belford and previously Wes Foderingham and Cameron Belford.
Steve spent 9 years working with the academy at Swindon and then was promoted to also look after the first team for the last 2 years before he left. In his first season with Forest Green Rovers in the National League he was part of the coaching staff that got the club promoted to the Football League for the first time, via the play off final at Wembley Stadium. This was Steve's second Play Off Final experience at Wembley Stadium after being part of the coaching staff that made the League One Play off final in 2015 when Swindon lost to Preston. Steve in season 2019/20 returned to Wembley for a third time coaching at the League Two play off final between his then club Exeter City and Northampton Town. Steve has great experience over his 15 years in a professional football club environment including 310 games coached across the WSL, National League, League Two, League One and Championship.
Steve has also previously been goalkeeping coach at Southern Premier sides Chippenham Town and Cirencester Town.
Steve has played over 400 games in the Hellenic and Toolstation league for various teams.

Aaron Moody from under 11 to full time scholar
Connor Johns from under 15 & being offered a two year scholarship a year early upon reaching the under 16 squad & twice appeared on the bench for the 1st team during his first year as scholar
Jamie Stephens from under 15 to full time scholar and who was then sold to Premiership side Liverpool
Jared Thompson from under 10 to under 14 before he was sold to Premiership giants Chelsea after starting out in Steve Hale Goalkeeping School
Stuart is 37 years old and has been working at Steve Hale Goalkeeping School since January 2013.
Stuart has played in goal for several teams across the local leagues over the years and now coaches at Swindon Spitfires across various age groups.
Stuart is goalkeeping coach at Wiltshire FA’s Advance Coaching Centre for girls and is an FA Level Two Goalkeeping and FA Level Two outfield coach. He also holds an FA coaching disabled footballers award, FA Youth Award Modules 1 & 2 and is working towards achieving his FA Youth Award Module 3.
Stuart holds up to date Child Protection and Emergency Aid Certificates along with his CRB check and is also an FA Licenced Coach as part of the FA's Licenced Coaches Club.
Martin is 32 years old and has played for several teams in the Wiltshire area before going into coaching.
Martin started coaching in America, spending two summers in Connecticut before moving back to the UK.
Martin is the Goalkeeping Coach for Wootton Bassett Town Ladies First Team and also coaches the Under 11s at Wiltshire Football Academy in the JPL.
Martin holds the FA Level Two outfield and FA Level One Goalkeeping certificates, alongside his FA Emergency Aid, Child Protection and is CRB checked.
